Faith Formation Current Events

Congratulations to our youngest parishioners and their families who completed this retreat!

We started with a warm welcome and opening prayer. Next, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, while our Catechist read "The Weight of the Mass" by Josephine Nobisso.

During our break, we enjoyed an Egg hunt on a beautiful sunny day that the good Lord provided.

Fr. C. P. was ready to give a talk on these incredibly special Sacraments.

The families learned about the vessels used during the Liturgy of the Eucharist and practiced receiving.

Later, we put together our family banners, and practiced our Communion Day song.

We finished out the day with baking bread, and enjoying a Seder meal!

I would like to extend warm thanks to the families who joined us and to Ms. Julie Kalinowski, Fr. C. P. Varghese, and Mencho Falcon who helped me make this special event a success!
