Registration is now open for The Way: A Healing Retreat for Female Survivors of Abuse to be held October 6-8 at Camp Comeca in Cozad, Nebraska. The Diocese of Grand Island Victim Assistance Ministry, in collaboration with the Victim Assistance Ministries in the Archdiocese of Omaha and Diocese of Lincoln, is hosting this 3-day guided meditation and prayer experience for women who have experienced any type of abuse and are seeking healing for their heart, mind, body and soul. The Way Retreat was developed by Sue Stubbs, Director of the Victim Assistance Program in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, who will be the primary facilitator of this retreat.
