Current plans - Winter 2022
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and so many things shut down, the renovation project was put on hold. After a parish survey and subsequent meetings the decision was made to put the renovation on hold indefinitely. At this time the focus will be on maintenance of existing buildings and systems.
Pre-pandemic plans
A message from Fr. Mike
I was greatly encouraged by the attendance and the participation of the many this past Saturday (Feb. 8) as we sought to explore the options and the possibilities regarding our parish center renovation. I believe there was genuine excitement generated as to how our parish center can not only address the needs of our parish, but also the needs of both our community of Sidney and the surrounding area. This is an exciting time, for all of us witnessed the very work of the Holy Spirit. Our prayer is that we seek to continue to listen to one another and, of course, to the Holy Spirit. Together great things can and will happen for all of us here as St. Patrick's.
As our discernment moves forward, I will keep you abreast as to the progress of our planning and our work in order that we will make a thoughtful and a prayerful decision for the betterment of all.
In the meantime, please feel free to contact me or any of the members of our building committee if you have any questions or comments. The members of our building committee are as follows:
